IntellecTechs is currently seeking to hire a Pass and ID Card Clerk to join our team at Suitland, MD.
DUTIES: Provides professional military personnel support services to the U.S. Navy’s Pass Identification Card systems. Staff will support the employee badging services to include the operation of the “Credentialing system” and local badging system at the facility. Badging processing will be done in accordance with Government directives. Our staff conducting badging operations will properly screened and approved for issuance of a U.S. Access Credential and receive an annual briefing on protection of personally identifiable information (PII). Staff will perform pass and ID support, which will be specified for all positions involved under the general oversight of the government appointment sponsor. Our staff will process and issuance badges, ID cards, and other identification media. Our Pass and ID Card Clerks will monitor compliance with the established rules and regulations. Our Clerks will take all reasonable precautions for the health and safety of persons, and promptly report or correct unsafe conditions, procedures, or activities and ensure that we notify the customer/sponsor/COR of the possible conditions so that repairs or corrections can be accomplished.
Staff will provide Pass and ID and other related administrative processing support and will operate and maintain manual and computer-based Pass and ID, Access Control, and other computer-related systems, databases, and equipment. Clerks will enforce personnel identification procedures as prescribed. We will provide system user and administrative duties required for the functioning of the DoN, and DoD Access Credentialing systems. Systems used are AccessNsite system, DBIDs, Salto and a few other government-approved systems. Staff will maintain, issue, and retrieve identification badges, keys, access cards, and vehicle parking tags, and other security-related items and conduct inventories. We will operate and manage access control systems for the NMIC to include managing access privileges.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be U.S. citizen and possess favorably adjudicated of a Top Secret Clearance with SCI to start. Minimum of one year of experience in a Customer Service environment. HR background in either of the following disciplines: Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation. Proficient in both oral and written communication to communicate effectively. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point. Working knowledge of standard office equipment such as computers, electric typewriters, copiers, fax machines, scanners, and other office automation systems.
