NELTS, Inc is a leading provider in Landscaping, Sweeping, & Snow Removal that is a family owned and operated company based in North Franklin CT. We give our customers the best service and use only the highest quality products to deliver outstanding results. Due to rapid growth we are searching for honest, skilled, dedicated, & professional Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain systems to track and account for all financial transactions including a breakdown of income and expenditures (income, payroll, marketing, etc.)
  • Maintain financial accounts including the verification, allocation, and posting of all transactions
  • Balance accounts and ledgers
  • Reconciliations
  • Issue payments to contractors and vendors (payroll)
  • Compile financial reports
  • Work to comply with all federal and state legal requirements
  • Collect and organize contractor W-9s
  • Prepare all the tax reports, 1099s, etc., and send to accountant at end-of-year.
  • Invoicing
  • Billing
  • Affiliate pay-outs
  • Report to Director of Ops for admin duties

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accuracy and impeccable attention to detail
  • 3 Years of Bookkeeping and basic accounting experience
  • Confidentiality and honesty with all company matters
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal legal requirements
  • Ability to analyze information
  • Reporting and data summarizing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to communicate promptly and clearly
  • 3 Years of QuickBooks (desktop version)

  • Service Channel
  • FM Pilot
  • Corrigo

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $850.00 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Data Entry: 3 years (Preferred)
  • customer service: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • 10 Key: 1 year (Preferred)
  • QuickBooks: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
